Submission Procedure:  

Submission is by email only with one manuscript per submission window only. Before submitting, familiarise yourself with our books and ethos. You may like to join our mailing list or buy a book or two. We cannot emphasise enough, how much value we will place on how you feel your work aligns with who we are and what we value.

In your submission email, please tell us about your book and why you wrote it, how your work fits our list, and a bit about yourself and your writing history. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t written anything since ‘what I did in my holidays’ at school. We like bold (behaviour not typeface).

If you send your manuscript outside the submission window it will not be read as this email is only checked during that period. 

Remember to include your name and a contact number.  

For non-fiction: email a proposal, a couple of sample chapters, and the reasons why you are the right person to write this book i.e. expertise/experience in the field. 

For fiction: email a synopsis and the first 30 pages in a single document. Manuscripts should be double-spaced and laid out in the standard template that professional publishers expect - indents for new paragraphs and in a legible font. 

Attachments: Remember to number the pages and attach in .doc, .docx or .pdf  

Response: We will acknowledge receipt of email submissions and will be in touch if we wish to read more of your work. If you don’t hear back from us within eight weeks, then assume that your work is not a fit for us. We’re sorry that we can’t provide individual feedback.
